The bright idea of our participation on MYS is not ours. But the day when Natalia Gelabert from ACREW YACHTING contacted me proposing to decorate the Business lounge of ACrew in La Rascasse, was one of the most crucial days of this post-Covid 2021!

She explained me that her company was one of the leading crew skills development for the Superyacht industry, and they were offering us the possibility to communicate with the members of world yachting community via the floral art.

The mix between the garden style and the exotic flowers was the key inspiration for the whole decoration

All the summer we were preparing our installation, thinking about the colors, the vegetals choice and the floral technics. We have finally chosen the Rainbow theme for our 2 floral arches for the entry to the terrasse and the interior zone of the famous Monte Carlo institution, .which is La Rascasse restaurant and lounge bar. Isabelle proposed also the exotic flowers for small centerpieces for guests tables and the welcome composals. I manufactured like 200 pieces of handmade “floral jewels” (floral wristbands, wreaths, hair grips and pins…) to offer to all the guests of Business Lounge!

And the great day has come! On the 21st of September, we delivered the previously prepared parts of arches to La Rascasse, with the good-hearted help of Natalia and her boss Ono. Everything was installed in one hour!

But the most interesting thing was waiting for us on the next three days. La Rascasse was is the center of all the crew life! We could meet all the variety of people working on yachting industry: the crews and the captains from the yachts and superyachts hosted these days by MYS, the yacht agents, the yacht managers, the delivery agents and many many more. We have made friends with some ex chief crews, we tested the magical antioxidant cocktail from Deliverance, we have offered dozens of floral jewels to the ACrew Lounge visitors and we have made the most important conclusion ever: our Things to Bloom yachting flowers are becoming the part of the big and friendly yachtee family !
